SPIRITUAL AWAKENING
Spiritual Awakening - Daniel Cole
Jesus and his disciples came to a
place called Gethsemane. Jesus said to them, "Sit here while I pray."
He came a third time and said to them, "Will you sleep and rest all night?
That’s enough! The time has come for the Human One to be betrayed into the
hands of sinners.
Mark 14:32, 41 CEB
At Gethsemane, Jesus stayed all
night praying, because he understood the magnitude of his enemies, he knew the
battles that await him, he understands what the agony of the cross is really
like, his desciples on the other hand spent all night sleeping because they
have no clue what is going to become of them when Christ is finally no longer
with them in person.
You won't know how to prepare for
a battle if you don't understand the nature, might and the strategies of your
enemies.
Each phases of our life is often
accompanied with different challenges, as the common saying goes "New
level, new devil" Even in our naivety of the battles that awaits us, we
should not for any reason compromise, relax or draw back in keeping our
spiritual alter alive. Be careful of spiritual lethargy and be careful of
spiritual weariness. Keep the fire burning, when life is good, pray and when
life is still good, keep praying.
Prayer: Jesus, I seek a spiritual
revival. I look up to you for a spiritual awakening, quicken up my inner man
from every slumber and let me be on fire for you. Amen.
It's The Dawn Of A New Day.
Arise and Shine.
